Pricing breakdown

Bolna AI pricing, and what it is built for

Bolna is a developer-oriented voice platform with genuinely low published per-minute pricing, popular with teams building in and for the Indian market. Most searches for its pricing are really asking two questions: what does a minute cost, and what does that minute include.

The figures below come from Bolna's own pricing page. Where something is not published, this page says so rather than guessing.

What the rate does and does not tell you

A published per-minute rate is the cost of the platform running the call. It is not the cost of the agent working properly. Prompt design, integration with your booking or CRM system, escalation rules, testing against real callers and ongoing tuning sit outside every rate card in this category. For a team with engineers, that is fine and the low rate is real. For a business without them, the rate is the smallest part of the bill.

Where Bolna fits

Low per-minute pricing and bring-your-own-key support make it attractive for high-volume, cost-sensitive deployments and for developers who already hold model contracts. It publishes no white-label or reseller tier, so agencies intending to sell under their own brand will need a different arrangement.

  • Strong fit: engineering teams optimising cost per minute at volume
  • Weak fit: agencies needing branded client accounts and rebilling
  • Weak fit: businesses that want the agent built and operated for them

Frequently asked questions

How much does Bolna AI cost per minute?

Bolna publishes a standard rate of 6.00 cents per minute, falling to 4.51 cents per minute at committed volume. Its Pilots plan includes 12,000 minutes at 6.00 cents with a 20 percent bonus. Verified August 12, 2026.

Does Bolna have a free tier?

It offers $5 in free credits on signup and a pay-as-you-go model with credits from $10 to $5,000, rather than a permanently free tier. Verified August 12, 2026.

Does Bolna offer white label or a reseller program?

No white-label or reseller tier is published on its pricing page. If reselling under your own brand is the goal, you need either a platform with a published agency tier or a perpetual license that grants rebranding rights outright. Verified August 12, 2026.

How does Bolna compare to Retell on price?

Bolna's 6.00 cents per minute sits below Retell's published $0.07 to $0.31 per minute range, though Retell's figure bundles infrastructure, model, voice and telephony. Compare like for like by adding the components you will actually pay for on each. Both verified August 12, 2026.

Is a cheaper per-minute rate the right thing to optimise?

Only at volume. Below a few thousand minutes a month, the difference between two and six cents a minute is smaller than one hour of engineering time. What decides the outcome is whether the agent completes the call, not what the minute cost.
